Hi
I have a Smeg washing machine, (integrated) and last night the machine started leaking water at the bottom of the door.
Found the drain outlet at the bottom of the rubber seal was blocked, so tonight I partially removed the rubber seal and removed the plastic elbow which I believe passes water through to the waste.
The plastic elbow was full of crap so I cleaned it out and reconnected the elbow, poured a small amount of water into the rubber seal and the water didn't drain away, so I though maybe it would only drain when the machine is draining throughout the program.
Put the rubber seal back and put the machine onto a rinse program everything worked fine but there was a small amount of water left in the bottom of the rubber seal after the program had finished.
I'm now thinking the pipe the elbow connects to is also full of crap but unsure, any ideas?
