Hi first time on a forum, hope this the right place. I have an Indesit model 425E cold fill washing machine which does not heat the water on any setting. I have checked that there is a feed to the heating element, also I have by-passed the thermostat to eliminate the possibility of a faulty stat. and still no hot water. Can anyone offer assistance. If by that you mean there is mains voltage on the heating element, then the element is probably defective. Disconnect one end of the element and check for continuity through the element, it may be open circuit and or it may be earthing to its own protective covering, although I would have expected that to have blown the fuse, more likely open circuit.
