Hello again!

I have a standard size domestic sink with an over flow pipe fitting on it. please see first photo. And an over flow pipe fitting on the waste pipe U-bend. Please see second photo

I have a bit of waste pipe for it (2 infact) but sadly the fitting on the waste pipe/ u-bend is to big for it (ever so slightly) Is this common or do I have the wrong size fitting on the U-bend

looks like my sink is leaking! and leaking where the bowl thing attaches to it. It is loose!

How do you tighten it? or remove it for another one please?

Sink waste should be held together with a screw through the centre from the top, see if this will tighten and seal it. If not fit a new waste, make sure mating surfaces on sink are clean though before fitting. Watch fingers as edges of the sink can be sharp.
