I bought the following Water connection for shower 1/2" male to 1/2" inch male.

It has an allen key hole on the back, I was going to have it mounted into the wall off the shower valve and i was going to connect it using a copper tap connector like the one below.

The problem i have is the connection does not sit inside the allen key hole, the hole needs to be round for it to sit up against the edge and make a connection.

Is there another type of fitting i could use, i don't want to use a flexi hose on to it with a rubber washer.

Will this do? Use a fibre washer in between or use a PTFE.

Conex do a 303ST which is designed to go on tap threads, has a flat face and comes with a fibre washer, but it isn't a swiven nut type tap connector.
