Hello People,

I got a washing machine, and have connected all the pipes as directed. However water does not enter the machine, the machine runs and spines fine. water gets into the pipe as i tried to unscrew it while the tap was on. but for some reason or the other water does flow in the machine and the soap still remains same.

Any suggestion will be nice. Thanks

Possibly the inlet fill valve not being powered up or has failed/become stuck so preventing water entering.

Dont know your confidence or tools you have to hand to suggest a way for you to test the fill valve

Does your appliance have a hot and cold fill or just a cold (I am assuming cold only) Also model Make, Model and manufacturers code are quite useful for narrowing down solutions to a particular appliance

Always assuming your supply tap is open.

check pressure pipe, blocked with soap powder
