Hi all
I've just had new wood windows installed at my house as part of a refurb, but on the second floor loft conversion window (which is a bit more open to the elements) small amounts of water seem to be getting blown (and then trapped) into the gap underneath the window opening and the sill below it (the window openings fit flush with the frame).
Is there anything I can get to stop this happening, as obviously if water is pooling under the window eventually it'll rot the wood? I've obviously painted/treated the wood, but cannot seal the gap as otherwise the window won't open. I was thinking something like a brush/plastic flap a bit like a draught seal for a door?
Any help most appreciated! Cheers AJ
