Installed new dishwasher and garbage disposal, drain line and all. When the cycle is done water is standing at the bottom. Frigidaire tells me it's ok as long as it's under the heating element, but after a couple of days boy does it smell. Forgot to ask, does anybody have any thoughts as to why or how to fix.

Maybe drain hose not installed correctly allowing dirty water to syphon back into machine when not in use.?
