Water leak

Hi, I have a mixer tap for bath/shower, when we use the shower water leaks through floor, downstairs ceiling, when we use the bath no water leaks at all, would the problem be with the mixer handle?

Check the condition of the silicone seal around the bath rim

Yup +1, would suspect the seal around the bath lip against the wall. Use a bucket/container, run some water around where the bath lip meets the wall and see if it leaks. Or if there is a bath panel, take that off and have a look underneath.
