Hello,
I've just moved into a 4 bed house with one bathroom built in around the 1900. Its had a new combi boiler fitted about 5 years ago, think its an Alpha.
The boiler is in the cellar (lower street level) along with the washing machine, and theirs three floors above it. Ground Floor - Kitchen and Lounge 1st Floor - 3 Bedrooms and Bathroom and 2nd Floor - 1 Bedroom.
I'm having problems with the water pressure and the water going hot and cold. Espically on the first floor! Theirs and electric Triton shower installed but its not powerful and when you flush the toilet you get a low water pressure reading on the shower and its almost a drip. The Pressure to the bath is some times ok and some times not and that too runs hot and cold. I think when your using the washing machine or the heating kicks in it lowers the pressure as well.
When I look at my boiler the reading on the bar pressure meter is in the green and reading 1 bar.
Can anyone help! I've read you can't get can shower pumps and water pumps fitted to combi boilers and theirs no loft of place for a storage water tank.
Thanks,
Mark
