water pump

Hi all,does the timming belt on 2006 ford focus lx drive the water pump ??
as i want to change the timming belt and if it does drive the water pump i will change the pump as well.

The water pump is driven by the auxiliary belt, Tom - but the pump pulley has to come off to access the timing belt covers.
On the diesel engine, the timing belt does drive the pump.
