hi
i am busy digging my extension foundation trenches at the moment and there seams to be one area where water seems to rise up i know i need to dig deeper, but i was wondering will this water sink down lower after it dries out,is this usual when digging out trenches any help much appreciated

steve

It won't sink any lower if you've hit the water table (not at this time of year anyway).

is it still ok to lay foundations i am getting pile foundations and a steel ring beam or is there anything i need to do?
many thanks
