The masonry should be centered on the foundations so that you have equal amounts of concrete showing either side of the brick/blockwork.

Trenches for pile foundations?

8 piles required and a steel raft built over them to form the foundation

so i take it the brickwork will be in the centre of the foundation?

Cheers

I take it your talking about a steel reinforced conc. ring beam on top of the piles? either way the masonry should be in the centre of the beam.
