Water shortage - What water shortage?

Four times over recent months, I have reported a water-leak in the road, at the end of our street, by filling online Yorkshire Water's forms in, and four times I have had acknowledgements, even confirmations that they have looked at it. No sign at all, that they have bothered to dig down to repair the leak. The leak is on the path, near the gutter, so the worsening trickle of water, goes straight in the gutter, then disappears in the road drain. Quite colourful, with all the water plants growing in it, it looks like a mountain stream.

YW, are pestering everyone to save water, not use hosepipes, not waste it. Yet they seem totally unconcerned about the water they themselves are wasting.

Inform the Beeb (Look North? It's been a long time since I lived there).

They'll be able to both report on the story, and embarrass some YT knob about the hypocrisy of their position.

Added points if this is in a hosepipe ban period

Local media love water leak stories, even better if you can get some old dear who cant have a shower cos she cant afford the water bill.
