We are currently in the process of planning a new kitchen. We are having a twin tec water softener which will be located under the sink and are also planning on having a quooker tap + scale control. The cupboard below the sink will be 900mm which we hope will be sufficient space for the installation of all of these appliances. We will run the quooker tap off the hard water supply (we will have separate hot and cold hard water feeds). Our concern is if there will be any additional plumbing required prior to installation and how much space the quooker tank + scale control will use?
Will there be any additional space left for storage?

Thanks!
Any reason to plumb it to the soft line?
We have added 4 pipes - 2 for hard and 2 for soft (as per advise of Harveys).
Most say not to drink the soften water and in all honesty the taste is not something that all in my family like however if there is a reason for it then maybe we will have to...

Those Quooker things burn out for a living. The scale thing they give you is pish poor.

There's little issue worth drinking the water after it's softened. Most can't tell the difference.
