Water softener leak

Hello forum,

I have a Crown dual tank water softener, which was installed about 18 months ago. We don't drink the softened water, but it was noticed that the water was very salty the other day. I have opened it up and noticed there is a slight leak on the softwater outlet which is dripping (internally) to the base of the tank.

I have included some pictures (they need rotating right):

The first picture above shows where the leak is, not specifically at the point of the arrows but along that join.

Any ideas? Is this something that can be tightened up or does it need replacing? Any help / suggestions welcomed.
