water supply for electric shower

hello,just changed from a power shower to an electric shower 9.5 kw triton. i need to change cold water supply as the supply for the power shower hasnt enough pressure for the electri shower to work. can i branch in to the mains cold feed going to the cold storage tank or does the shower need to have its own feed pipe direct from cold storage tank.
