I need to replace our old electric shower, we have seen a "Triton Sensation thermostatic electric shower for £104 from Wicks. My question is, it states "suitable for cold mains only" As far as i'm aware our present electric shower has a cold water feed from a tank in the loft, now I know very little about plumbing, but, I assume cold mains means just that, cold water direct from the mains like our downstairs cold taps. If I need an electric shower that is fed from a cold water tank in the loft what sort of shower should I be buying?
Thanks in advance.

Turn your main cold water off at your stop cock and if the shower doesn't work it's a mains shower. Most electric showers are mains fed.

Do you mean Triton Samba? If so it should already be fed from the mains.

Sorry, cant spell, yup that's the one, thanks fella.
Update, went into the loft last night and the water feed to the shower is NOT coming from the cold tank, you guys were correct, its mains fed. Have put the job in the hands of a plumber now. Thanks.
