Water supply to shower

I am running a mains water supply up a brick wall to an electric shower. Should the 15mm copper pipe be protected/wrapped or in a conduit or just covered/buried in plaster? The 4.5inch brick wall will be dry lined with 12.5mm moisture proof plasterboard and the shower area panelled with waterproof board then tiled.
