Water switch for lighting

Hi all

Dont know if this should go in electrics forum but here goes:

I am after an inline type switch which would turn the shower light on when the shower is firsted turned on ( and goes out once water shut off)
Not one of those blue/red leds...somthing to turn 12v spotlight on

IS there such a thing? Sure my mate told me once.

http://uk.rs-online.com/web/search/searchBrowseAction.html?method=getProduct&R=0256578 could be arranged to be switched on by the flow of water to the shower. Note this is just a component, not an off the shelf solution. The moment the water flow stops, you would be plunged into darkness.

why would you want such a thing, until you turned the shower on, and as soon as you turned it off the lights would not be on

Make sure you have a fluorescent towel set handy.
