A simple (I'll keep it simple and easy for you) experiment. Fill a cup or tumbler full of water. Place this in your freezer, until frozen. Take it out and see if the water has expanded (it will)
You can't explain anything to Joe....he only believes what he wants.

That's just a link to a kids science class. I want a link that global sea levels will fall if the Nth Pole melts. A link that takes into account the super dense ice of the Nth Pole. Now be a good chap and post one. (he won't)

So as you can see, here on Earth, it can only be created in a lab. Can't be created naturally in the polar regions. SO I stand by my earlier comment that if the North Polar Ice melted, sea levels would actually drop.

If the earth warms and the ice melts the sea temperature will rise. Warm water expands - so the sea level WILL rise.

Arctic ice is floating, displacing water. If it melts the sea level will stay the same, Water is at its max density at 4 degrees, so thermal expansion would then cause levels to rise. We are talking about if the Arctic Ice sheets melt......not about what temperatures they can gain or not gain.
Arctic Ice Sheets melt = sea levels remain the same, lesson over.
Antarctic Ice, Land Ice, Glaciers, Greenland Ice mass.....different lesson.

Don't be a knob. Global warming means global ocean temperature rise which means expansion and sea level rising. I told you about Greenland early in the thread. Why do you join a thread at the end without reading the rest of it?
I read all of the thread, but you are doing what you do best....changing the debate to suit your argument.
It was stated in a previous comment about the Arctic Circle.....you argued the fact, and have been proven wrong, again
