waterproof breathable membrane-which side

i have a membrane to go on the outside of the sheathing on a timber frame and the membrane doesnt have any print on the textile which i know is the waterproof outside face.

one side is slightly more waxy/rubbery than the other-im assuming this is the waterproof outside face?
