Weak Spray

I have a Hotpoint Dishwasher that has a weak spray when operating. The spray is so weak that the water barely reach the lower tray. What could be the problem?

lack of water pressure, have you cleaned the filter?

Clean filters, Check circulation pump for broken impeller or slow action.

Our dishwasher (Hotpoint) was not functioning properly as well. Unscrewed top spray bar, pulled off the bottom spray bar and flushed them through. Bits of crud, hard water build up can block the jet holes.
Now working fine.
