Weeds under Decking

Hi
I am about to build new decking which will cover up an old flower bed , how do I stop weeds growing under the decking. Do I use a good weed killer or is there a cover I can put over the dirt

Go to your local diy or garden center and get a roll of ground cover fabric,its designed for this purpose
