    Can this be repaired ?

I have just done a drain down and now i am struggling to tighten the valve to fully closed.

It is dripping every few minutes so the area is wet after an hour.

I have just watched a vid on utube and it shows i need to change the washer inside. Is this all i need to do ?

I was needing to drain down again as need to fit a new filter.

Also, when you remove the old washer, make sure all of it comes out and no bits are left inside.
