Gordon brown is in line for the job of Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund. It has a tax-free salary of £283,114, plus a £50,679 living allowance.

Having had a practice at ballsing up the UK economy for 14 years, it should now take him far less time to balls up the entire world economy.

I voted for Labour once when it became 'New' under Tony Blair. It was a mistake and I have regretted it ever since. That is, until now. Would Labour sell their souls and their principles just to keep power? I dont know the answer to that question. I do know, (now), that the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats, or at least the leaders, if not the rank and file, have had no such reservations. Office and power have overruled all other considerations. There will be more than a few regrets in four years time if not before.

Well the point is that Blair pulled the biggest con trick in history. Everyone who voted for Blair thought there were getting revamped but old socialist Labour, in fact what they were getting was in fact more right wing than Thatcher - it was practically National Socialism. I realised this after about 2 years and never voted for them again. Unfortunately it took enough people to get rid of them 14 years to realise they had been conned.

The man whos image appears above, is a son, a husband and a father.
I am, and always have been, a supporter of the Conservative party. Still, I wish him well.

Yes, but he didn't give a toss about all the millions of sons, husbands and fathers out there, whose pension funds he wrecked. And that's just one of the ways he screwed things up for millions of hard-working people.

Bloke needs a good kicking!

If there was a way to drag Brown into court for the negligent way he wrecked the economy, and Blair for lying through his teeth and dragging us into an illegal war, id be signing the petitions this moment.

This is one post of yours lincsbodger with which I can agree wholeheartedly....just thought I'd tell you that so that you may not feel quite so persecuted if you start talking bollix again and I point it out.
