Hi there

brother moved into a Weslo house that needed a lot of work, got a mate who is a Plumber to replace all the heaters and install a new shower which runs off the boiler.

Weslo are now asking for a certificate, now i am not 100% what kind of certificate.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Is this a rented council house?

In which case showers would usually be the landlords responsibility.

Its the plumbers responsibility to provide any paperwork in connection with his work.

Thanks for the quick reply Tony, it is a rented property, we asked for permission to get the work done and they gave us the go ahead and we have it in writing.

We weren't aware that we needed a certificate, because we didn' t think you needed to be corgi registered to replace heaters or install a shower.

there wasn't any electrical work done then?

No certificate is required for replacing the radiators or the shower.

It would have been different if it had been an electric shower as this is classed as a "special location".

Got it sorted out didn't need any certificates, guy came out from weslo yesterday and checked and signed off on all the work done.

Thanks for all your help guys
