Most of my life I always tried to see the best in people, I have been disappointed all to often, once bitten twice shy, eventually you learn by the mistakes we make.

Plod end up totally capitulating and paying ridiculous amounts of taxpayer money out in damages. You would expect the chief inspector behind this might get into trouble?

Nope, he is in same sailing club as Assistant Chief Constable, and gets to retire on full pension.

You have to try hard to invent a more corruption laden story. But we can almost guarantee there will be another one next week, and the week after that....
