Can someone let me know a how to guide on wet rough casting ? (When the pebbles are mixed in with the cement etc.)

It's only a small area I need to do so I am not wanting to get someone in to do it.

First you need to get the right size chips, and some fine sharp sand, bagged lime and OPC. Waterproofer for the scratch coat

Depends on depth and area for quantities .

First mix up lime and chips and sand with water to the consistency of what you will be using. Ideally leave this somewhere to sour - covered in plastic for as long as possible, a week is great. Give it the odd mix around now and again and make sure it stays damp.

Scratch coat teh wall and leave for a couple of days.

Mix up the soured mix with opc. It should be nice and sticky now - so that if you dip your dasher vertically into the mix, and lift it out, the mix sticks to it.

Maybe look at youtube for how to apply.
