What a plonker !!

Just had a new carpet put down in the bedroom and decided to give the walls a lick of emulsion paint. Anyway put dust sheets down and had paint in the paint tray with a roller and left it on the floor while l was cutting in.

l forgot about the tray and stepped into it and paint went everywhere. It has gone through the dust sheet onto the carpet

l have tried water and washing up liquid but you can still see the marks.Up till now the missus has not seen it but she will if l cannot get rid of the stains.

Anybody got ideas how to lift the marks out of the carpet please

keep it wet with water so it does not set hard

use a wet-and-dry vac or a carpet shampooer to suck it out.

I don't think you will get it fully clean.

A contract carpet cleaning co will probably have a way to attack it.

Look up your household insurance.
