What are these and how do I get rid of them!!! (Drain larvae?) (Ed.)

These larve/flies are found where drains tend to have dirt/slime/effluent and once they get in can multiply quite quickly. That's why I suggest getting the drain jetted/cleaned.

You could also use buckets of boiling water and disinfectant with Bicarb/vinegar

Try the Multi Purpose cleaner they sell in the supermarkets (yellow stuff), it seems to clean and get rid of pests much better then bleach

also put a cap full in the cistern so there is always some in the water when you flush

Use plenty, it smells a lot better than bleach!

It will also have some effect on biofilm, though scrubbing or jetting will shift it better.
