What can i do to sort these walls out?

I have moved into a house and two walls in the bathroom have all these marks and imperfections etc on the walls and i would like some advice on what to do to sort these problems out.

You need to get a base coat on them...if you try rubbing silk down the paper clogs really easy..

Scrape off the big lump then give the wall a coat of acrylic primer..then fill the wall using easi fil from B & Q..

Rub down the do you first coat of emulsion..then look for more filling and do it...

Or if your condfident...do the first stage and the filling then line the walls with 1000 grade lining paper

Use matt emulsion as the finish as it helps hide uneven surfaces.

Better off getting it plastered. Fifty quid should sort it.

It's only two walls of a bathroom so they won't be very big. I often do these little jobs to fill an afternoon. Gets you loads of other work.

Quickest, best & most lasting solution is definitely a re-skim but good luck with the 50 quid. It's gonna be a ½ day charge & that will cost you around £100; unless you get joe to do it of course.
