What coloured emulsion to buy?

Surprised this hasn't been asked recently, I have searched & had a quick look through recent posts? Hopefully it hasn't been anyway...

I'm currently decorating a bare plaster room, I have applied a mist coat to the walls with Leyland Contract matt watered down 9:1 as per instructions, I'm now looking for a top coat for the walls and I have no idea what brand of paint is best to get? I have previously used Jonstones a couple of years ago & wasn't too impressed with it, seemed to have poor opacity.

So what's good? Something I can order online if possible. I don't mind paying for quality, the less coats it requires the better.

Many thanks. I'm looking at Crown Trade now is that any good? Seems to get good reviews generally & seems ok price wise
