I did already know that in the 1930's there was proposal to ship Europe's Jewish population to Madagascar, not just from Germany but also supported in other European nations, including the UK.

UK offered them Uganda as a Jewish state at one point, according to Wikipedia anyway. Offer was, declined.

Personally I think the whole thing was contrived to give corbyn a stronger public image and make jews want to vote for him.
