A broken oven. Stopped working last night

Its like they are timed to break at Christmas.
We’re away so I’ll find out more when we get home but there is a timer nice that disables the oven until you push 2 buttons

Not sure i agree with this. In the 1960’s our house was ALWAYS cold. A number of rooms didn’t have any form of heating AND even if they did my parents simply didn’t have the money to heat them
No double glazing either
