Renovating the conservatory, and the missus wants more lights with a dimmer switch...

So I have wired the dimmer in line with the positive main, and I have split the output through a junction box. Then it occurred to me, should I just split it again and have all four lights in parallel, or should I wire two pairs in serial?? The first option seems obvious, but then surly the second would help maintain the correct impedance.

Diagram attached to help - thoughts please...

Also, if one lamp fails they will all look as though they have failed.
Pain in the butt trying a new lamp in each fitting till you get the right one unless it is obvious to the eye. (Think unfused Christmas tree lights  )
