Hi,

My garage is attached to the house. Just under the door from the hallway to the garage is an open-ended white pipe, and it's started dripping water. I've attached a picture of it. Please can you let me know what it is, why it's dripping, and what I should do to fix it?

Thanks for helping!

Probably an overflow for a toilet.
New fill valve or existing one may just need adjusting.

As above, could be from toilet cistern or a cold water storage cistern in the loft. Doubt it’s a condensate pipe from the boiler but not unheard of.

Thank you all. There is a downstairs toilet just the other side of the hall so that makes a lot of sense. I'll have a look at the fill valve.
