Please can anyone help?
My ground for flat is sold and empty, and while i am waiting for the sale to go through I pop round once every couple of weeks to check the post.
Today I turned on the boiler to ensure it is working okay as it had not been on since it was serviced in September. It is a combi boiler so I turned on the hot water. After a few minutes it started making loud noises and locked out. I reset it and it locked out again so I turned it off and went back to work. I came back later and turned it on again, this time along with the loud noises it started smoking from the top so I quickly turned it off.
I went outside and it turns out some t****r has hacked off the copper waste pipe, and the remaining pipe in the wall is all buckled and blocked. Can this be my problem?
It is a puma potterton - about 15 years old.
