I'm a DIY dummy but more than that i'm an electrics dunce, TOTALLY!! So jargon will baffle me here. Nevertheless, i'm interested in what the process is here & how easy/costly/disruptive it'll be....
2 rooms in question...
LIVING ROOM:
I imagine this one will be fairly straight forward. It's approx 6.5mtr-x-3.5mtr. As the plasterers have ballsed things up it will be going back to brick work, certainly on 2 walls.
There are currently only 3 double sockets in this room. 1 either side of the chimney breast & 1 on the opposite wall. Not really enough. As for where the TV will be going there isn't a socket near there - we'd need to trail an extension lead.
Now, i don't know how many EXTRA sockets we'll need but i suspect the process will be the same for 1 as it will be for 10 etc.
So what does it entail to wire in extra sockets here?

The wall to the left there has no sockets. A radiator is in that far corner. We would possibly be wanting a tall lamp perhaps in that corner.

In the right corner there is where the TV will be going, again no socket. The nearest is over 2.5mtr away.

Different viewpoint to the above

This wall has a socket to the left of it but nothing to the right. We're not 100% on where the telly would go as it might go in this corner.

Different shot of an earlier photo showing the socket.

That is the only socket on that side of the room - just behind the spirit levels.
BEDROOM1:
Basically this one has been taken back to plaster (so just wallpaper off). There are 2 sockets in this room but they're both over to the left hand side of the room with nothing over to the right. We might want a TV or [something] over on the right requiring power.
What would it entail to wire in more sockets here? Does plaster HAVE to get hacked off in every case? If so what are we talking here?
BEDROOM2:
This one is one of the few rooms that doesn't need any work doing. As such it's all wallpapered & we'd like it to stay that way.
>IF< we were to want more sockets in this room, is there any way to do it without stripping the wallpaper off or not?
