what Oil Boiler size?

I am in the process of moving house but the boiler and oil tank has been removed. The property is a fairly big 1960's built 4 bed detached.
Can anyone advise what size oil boiler i need to supply hot water ad heating?. Also what size and type oil tank is best. (There is no mains gas in the area).

You could do a heat loss calculation, but if the radiators are already in place, that is pretty pointless.
Measure up all the radiators, add the heat capacity of the lot up, and that is the size of the boiler you need.
