Hi all

I currently let out a property which I'm hoping to sell as soon as tenants move out and I can re-decorate to achieve a better price.

Due to tenants drying clothes indoor and never putting heating on (tight ****es) there is mould on certain walls/ceilings. I'm planning on cleaning this all first with an fungicidal wash before decorating again. Ceilings to be in white and walls magnolia.

What paint would be recommended, that's decent, but not overly expensive, as I have the whole house to do (3beds, hall, kitchen, bathroom, WC & lounge). I have a sprayer so will spray all the ceilings, and roller walls.

Is it also worth adding in a fungicidal additive to the paint?

Thanks

Once you've removed the tenants and the moisture, there won't be any mould. Bleach kills mould spores. Just use ordinary paint - I've found Wickes to be good but that's the 'colours' stuff and for your quantities you'll want trade emulsion.

Any recommendations on which trade paint?
