What side plasterboard to skim?

I've ordered some of this, and will put it up then get a plasterer to skim it.

is this same on both sides, or should I put one side up for skimming?

The side with the taper (shallow drop in level along one length) is the side the faces you and is plastered.
The side that is completely flat is the side that goes against the wall and is not plastered.
