A local organisation has a sort of village hall. Semi rural area outside a small town. Beside it is a fenced area that should be a lawn or garden, but as they ran out of funds during renovation work, there is a mound of rubble. Been there for years. Probably something like ten metres by three by one (total guess, I will try to measure it)

Things have now improved and they could afford to have it dug out and carted away, and the area levelled with soil and grassed.

Who would shift and level it? Is it groundworkers? I imagine a digger and tipper trucks. The committe is largely composed of retired ladies with little experience of getting quotes for such things. They are probably capable of doing a little light planting, themselves.

Local grab hire/aggregate places may do a swap of taking away existing and bringing new topsoil. Ground workers for if stuff needs moving around/levelling etc. Theyre also likely to have contacts for the grab.

Grab, then a landscaping firm or something along those lines.

Is "grab" the trade name they are listed as?

Deffo grab hire.

Phone around local grab hire companies. All will get rid of clean hard core etc. They won't touch it if it's contaminated with greenery or wood or other materials.

Ask them if they will do a reciprocal load of soil too. Makes sense for them to take a load of rubbish away and on the next grab, bring a load of top soil back with them

Two men - one on a dumper and one on a digger with a grader bucket could probably pi$$ that in a day. A landscaper would do it in his sleep.

It is mixed with soil and has grass on it as a disguise.

No wood that I know of, but has demolition rubble in the mound.
