Right at the end of a big tiling job & I've drilled through the speedfit. The repair is easy enough but how do I cut the pipe? Way too right for a cutter?

If it's too tight for a cutter, it's too tight to get a fitting in. You need to chop the plaster back some more to get some play on the pipe

You might just get in with some types of plastic pipe cutter..but as said above...not easy fix...slip coupling not great solution either

Can chisel out enough to get a cutter in I think. If i have to remove more tiles to get enough flex on the pipe in order to fit a coupler that can be done too though I'd rather not obviously. It was literally the last job, refitting the shelf.

I did similar in my new en-suite a few years ago. I stood there with my thumb over it knowing that I'd have to let go and run down to the kitchen to turn off the stoptap!
I'm pretty sure I only removed one 8" tile, cut out the damage with a sharp knife and dismantled the new pushfit coupling, putting the end caps, rings etc on the two cut ends which made the fitting a bit easier to get on.

Just to finish off, here's the end result. I sacrificed another tile to dig out the pipe & that gave me enough flex to get a coupling on. Used a JG cutter & it was perfect. Thanks for the advice everyone.
