Taken all old plasterboard and Plaster off so I can clean bricks before tanking.
I've come across this unsightly grey area which looks like someone has filled in some old chasing of the bricks.
Should I knock it out and fill with building sand/cement at 4:1 mix? Will this then be OK to apply tanking slurrry straight on top of?
