What to Use to Repair 10p sized hole in Vinyl flooring

My daughter has a 10p sized hole in her vinyl flooring.
I was wondering if there is a plastic based filler I could use just to fill the hole in. It doesn't have to be particularly pretty as long as the hole is filled.
I can only find wood and laminate filler. Would this do the trick?

Do you have any spare material?
Under a cupboard/bed? Or spare up the loft?

You can cut matching patches if so.
I always leave offcuts under the bath/kitchen units.
