Just moved into a new flat with only a bath. :(

I have gas central heating with a combi-boiler. The wierd thing is that the kitchen takes the water from the mains but the bathroom takes the water (just cold I think) from a water tank in the hall.

What type of shower do I need for this type of setup and how much do you think it would be to get installed?

Thanks.

Best bet would be to tee off the rising main in the hall and fit a thermostatic mixing valve.

It all depends on how easy it is to get the pipes to the new shower, i would call someone out for a free estimate

Best bet and the cheapest option would be an electric shower since it is instant hot water regardless of where your water is coming from.

and whys that when he has a combi boiler and thats instant hot water.

but you will be able to get a decent shower for under £200.

+ having the electrics fitted won't be so cheap then.
then a mixer shower and install will be cheaper and look better.
