Hi wanting to put in a new bathroom currently have a very old shower system that runs off the cold tank in loft and hot water cylindar it does not mix the water very well it is either too hot or too cold. Looking at either a power shower or electric one can anyone tell me the differences and what would be best in my situation.
Thanks
Stuart

you got a choice depending on what you want to spend.

electric shower of the mains cold water providing your mains pressure is up to it. then you'll need a large cable run back to the consumer unit.

a thermostatic mixer with probably a pump to give it good pressure.

power shower supplied by the hot/cold gravity which has its own inbuilt pump, run off a 3 amp fused spur.

or a digital shower supplied by the gravity hot/cold, run off a 5 amp fused spur
