discussed this at work today.
If you say would you eat bla bla bla for a million pounds then the answer is quite likely to be yes.

What about for a mere 200quid on the table?

!) 10 live maggots?

2) 1 live large house spider?

3) 1 black slug?

4) toe nail clipping?

Well... we did have a quiet moment

Here's another one to talk about at work:

Farmer A goes to Farmer B's farm in the hopes of buying a goat.

Both men sit at a table near the goat and discuss the sale of the goat over a few beer.

Farmer A says "How much will you sell your goat for?"

Farmer B says "I'll sell him to you for 50 pounds."

Farmer A pulls a 50 pound note out of his pocket and sets it on the table in front of Farmer B.

The goat reaches out with it's long tongue and swallows the 50 pound note.

Who now owns that goat? Why?

sorry mlb3c...
I dont know either...
glad to see you are feeling better :)

the point also was that it was more fun the less money was on offer...
for huge amounts...most of us would force ourselves to do alot of things.

For a smaller but still better than a kick in the teeth amount.... the decision was harder.

mlb3c... sorry but thats funny!

you said 50 lb.... we wouldnt say 50lbs when talkimg about money as lbs refers only to weight.
funny!

Eddie M: "approx $349"

I think you mighta multiplied when you shoulda added or subtracted when you shoulda taken a square root of a logarithm of something.

Right now a Canadian Dollar is worth about a half of a British pound.

And a Canadian Dollar is worth about $0.87 $US.

So 50 British pounds would be worth about $100 ($Cdn) or about $87 ($US).

This web page from the Bank of Canada shows graphs which chart the value of the Canadian dollar versus other world currencies since 2002:

Nope I'm basing it on the original question of what ...etc for £200, which is worth approx $349 USD or approx $400 CAD.

Oh to answer the original question, maybe a mucky D's or a KFC

to answer the original question

maybe the mother in laws sunday dinner :(
