What's a comfortable bedroom cupboard depth?

As part of our house gut out, we are fortunate to be able to restructure rooms as we like. For the purposes of sliding door wardrobes / normal cupboards, am I correct in thinking that 60cm is the normal depth?

Am I also right in thinking that for a comfortable size of 80cm will accommodate coats / suit jackets etc without them touching the side wall or doors?

Also in terms of bed pedestals, what are the most common depth and widths?
