After all, the moderators are very quick to delete a bit of name calling. Surely reference to horrendous deaths is far more offensive.

Watching gruesome stuff on the internet kinda toughens you up a bit and makes you realise whats going on in the outside world.

It makes you feel lucky to be living in a relatively safe environment where you are not going to get set alight for stealing a handbag. It also demonstrates that life is too short.
